  • Can you help with the design phase of my project?

By working with Punchout Pros LLC, you can take full advantage of our process, which breaks down remodeling into various components. Therefore, when you choose us as your remodeling contractors, you can use us for design, purchase materials from us, and all the construction.

  • How long does it take to complete a project?

Completion times vary based on the scope of the project, our current project workload, availability of supplies and materials, sub-contractor availability and other factors. In our experience as residential and commercial contractors, some small projects might be completed in a week, other larger remodeling projects could take a month or two to complete.

  • What adds the most value to a home?

The answer may vary depending on who you ask but typically, in our experience, home additions or expansions. In our experience, bathroom and kitchen renovations are at the top of most lists. Homeowners in the Nashville area have seen a significant uptick in home value over the past few years. Because of this, many are choosing to invest in their homes through remodeling projects.

  • Why should I renovate my home?

One of the most common reasons to renovate is to add value to your home. If you're planning to sell soon, making some strategic renovations can help you boost your sale price. Even if you're not planning to sell anytime soon, adding value to your home is always a good idea.

Home improvements, such as kitchen and bathroom renovations, can make your home more appealing to potential buyers down the line. They can also make your life more comfortable and enjoyable. According to National Association of REALTORS®, Post-remodeling, 64% of homeowners reported a greater desire to be in their homes, and 46% experienced increased enjoyment of their living spaces.

  • How do I start planning my renovation project?

Whether it's a kitchen remodel or a full-scale commercial project, the planning process is very similar. Define your goals, create a list of "must-haves" and "nice-to-haves," and then set a timeline and budget.

  • Do I need a permit for my remodeling project?

As remodeling contractors, we know that it depends on the type of project and if structural aspects of the home are being affected.

  • What is the difference between a remodel and a renovation?

A remodel involves structural changes and significant design alterations, while a renovation is more cosmetic and focuses on updating existing spaces. Whether you're planning bathroom renovations or a remodel, we can help! Give our team a call.

  • Why should I hire a contractor for my remodeling or addition project? Can't I just do it myself?

DIY stores and home improvement centers may carry many of the tools and materials needed for a home remodeling or addition project. Some homeowners certainly can take on these projects themselves, but many people find that it saves time, money and frustration to hire experienced remodeling contractors instead. A good contractor will help you plan, execute and finish the project with much less hassle than you can expect when taking on a project yourself.

  • How much will my remodeling/addition project cost?

The cost of home renovations depends on the size and scope of your project and the quality of materials that are used. When getting estimates from local remodeling contractors, make sure you're asking them to bid on the exact same scope, size and materials.

  • Do I need to hire an architect or can my contractor draw my home renovation designs?

Depending on the size and scope of your project, there are pros and cons to hiring an architect to draw up home remodeling plans. Here are a few to consider:

    • In general, if you're tearing down/moving walls or if your project includes an addition and new construction elements, hire an architect.
    • Architects are trained to look beyond the outward design and consider the usability of a space, local building codes, and zoning regulations. As such, they can draw a complete set of home remodeling and addition plans.
    • Some design/build remodeling contractors can offer lower costs and shorter construction time frames by providing both home designs and building services.
